To make a long story short, I mis shifted and hit around 10K rpms in my 96 I30. Got the motor pulled and another waiting to go in.

This is what my fidanza flywheel looks like. I am kinda worried about the heat spots on there. I am sure some are from going to the track but some are probably from my miss shift.

Should I be worried about putting this back in my car, or should I get a replacement disk. Looks like I can just replace the steel friction disk.

yeah, it needs a new disc. if you cant afford it then you can get it resurfaced.

yeah, the friction surface is replaceable independantly i belive.

a side note: how is street driving with that?
