hey i was woundering cuzi m still a mechanic in training is it possible to fix ALL the rust on my 240 .....example passenger side in car under carpet a 4 x 3 in rust whole rusted all the way through can see garage floor ....plz help

i have rust in the same spot u can fix it cut out the rusted section and get some metal and weld it in

i no i was so happy to finally get all the carpet out then i see this thing and my jaw i was pissed

yea i didnt noticed mines until my carpet was wet one day so i went under the car and found it mines is only the side of a can right now tho i think there was a factory drain plug there originally or something like that

You can fix it all of course - if you know how to fab sheet metal

Does your school over body repair as one of its classes? Even if you don't want to take that class then you may be able to get them to fix it for you cheap. A hole that size can be fixed and it would be good practice for some trainiee.

oo trust me that only one rust spot ...the one that i wurry most about is under the car on the crame this t shape thing in the middle of the underbody has a chunk missing
