Conan taking over Tonight Show

So, what are your thoughts about Conan taking over for Jay Leno in 2009?

Are you a Leno or Letterman fan?

Leno and Conan at times is not funny and at times he is. Conan can't really replace Leno...

Anyway, I do like Jay, Conan is really weird, but I LOVE Dave's top 10s... However, Jays headlines and other thigns are good....

Normally with Conan, its so late and your tired/slap-happy that no matter what he says you think its funny! Thats the way I am, and its funny when his hair swoop flies all around when he goes crazy.....

its good news. conan is the best host. letterman drives me nuts.leno is funny, but ugly and seems like a pompous ***. nice car collection though.

I've always hated Leno on the tonight show...

Collision Course was an amusing movie however. And he's always entertaining on car shows or interviews and such...

I stopped watching The Tonight Show when Leno replaced Carson. But with Conan taking over, I'll reconsider. The guy's quirky, and his self-depricating humor is fantastic!

Now I just need a TV.

Gah! Down with Conan. I seriously have RARELY laughed while watching any of that show. He's so stupid its not even funny. I dont really watch either one, but I'd prefer Jay.

IDK. Maybe its a white people thing? Sucks. Im always out of the loop.

I'm a huge Leno fan, and I also enjoy Conan...however, the two are not interchangeable. Conan will NEVER be able to replace Leno.

I've actually NEVER seen Letterman, lol.

I'm a real big Leno fan, but I'm a real big Conan fan too. This is like making me choose a favorite child or something....

Anyone ever seen Carson Daly's talk show? It's actually pretty damned good, at least the times I've watched it.

I think Jay Leno needs his own car show. Kinda like Car and Driver wherein he reviews new cars and what not.

and does stupid skits with them too.

and drives his fire truck around...

Nah...it's not a white people thing. I'm pretty damn white and I don't think Jay or Conan are all that funny. I guess if I had to choose, I'd pick Conan over Jay. Then again, I'd probably rather watch infomercials than watch the Tonight Show.

I think Conan burned up his supply of funny writing for the Simpsons.

nah, conan isn't that funny. Its once in a blue moon he is funny. I perfer Jay as well.

I prefer Letterman to all. Jay and Conan are both more slap stick whereas as letterman is more of the dry humor which I prefer. I think that Conana is funnier than Leno though. Although there are times where Conan is just down right annoying.

I prefer Conan, to the others but I don't usually watch TV that late at night. Movies yes, but not TV. I like letterman too though. When Andy was still Conans' sidekick they had that skit in the year 2000. It was so funny they continued to use some of it after the new year.

You guys forget he was a head writer for The Simpsons? He's a comedy genius! The Walker Texas Ranger clips, and when Chuck Norris actually came on the show to beat him up..that was great.
