Ok guys first I'd like to say sorry if this seems like dumb question or has been answered but I can't seem to find any info at all while searching. My time is limited with school and work...like right now my boss needs me to do something (ofcourse) lol. Anyway thanks 2 anyone willing to help.

I was looking into info or where I can get computer programs that give info on the car like different gauge type info...oil pressure, temp., etc...Stuff like that. Kind of like a program (ie windows media player) that you download to a pc then connect it to "ecu/or something" and get info like that.

Thanks

I believe you're talking about something like Nissan Consult.

Not sure if there's a difference in the SW, or the connection cable, or maybe none at all, but here's one that says for the RB.

I was just giving him a start point.

wow thanks everyone. That is pretty much what I was looking for.

Question about it tho...? It sounds like it can be used while driving but doesn't actually state it, so can you drive while checking the "stuff" out. Also where else can I get it? Or is this a good company?

Final questions? has anyone used it before or owe one of these programs? IF so how is it? Worth the money?

Many thanks. Seriously! Thank you guys...u the best

No idea. I haven't used it and don't plan to. I would say if you want to buy it from that seller, look at his feedback to judge if he is legit.

As far as if you can use it while driving, someone else will have to step up and answer that one.

you need to make sure you have the DDL connector so this cable can plug in to.

Yes, You can drive and run this.

I know it has like a data logging feature. You can get a "Serial to USB" adapter to run on most laptops. Then there is a software you can install.

http://www.plmsdevelopments.com/consult_if.shtml

There not very expensive. But your other options are to get a Engine Management System.

Good luck, hope this helped

It includes the following features:

* Compatible with Win98SE, Win2K, XP and Vista.* Real time monitoring of RPM, speed, injector pulsewidth, injector duty cycle, TPS position, AFM voltage, speed, idle valve opening %, IGN timing, coolant temp, battery volts etc. All displayed on nice pseudo-analog gauges.* Data logging on all parameters with cool inbuilt replay feature.* Read and reset fault codes* Active tests like “power balance” (knocks one cyl out at a time), fuel pump on/off, VCT control, temporary changes to values for coolant temp, IGN timing, AAC valve (for idle adjustment) etc.* ROM read* More great stuff!

I use nissan datascan on my other Nissan. You have to wire up your consult port to make it work on your RB swap. It's a very good tool, it will even maptrace your ECU so if you have to burn a rom and you don't have a emulator you can see what cells are effected. I love it.

I got it back in June of 06. I didn't get it for my RB tho since I already have a PFC. Got it for my NX since I make my own roms. here is an example of the maptrace
