the computer screen in my 92 Q45 sometime go on and off, but now i can't seem to get it to work right now. i was wondering if some one had a similar problem with this or is it just me. i was thinking that it was a bad connection or something like that. also i wonted to know if the screen showed the code when the computer was in test mode, because when i tried when the screen worked and it didn't come up. am i doing it wrong or is something go on with ecu .

thanks

Do a search for odometer and/or instrument cluster in Infiniti Online Mechanic and you'll find posts that will give you step-by-step instructions on getting trim pieces off, starting at the shift console, en route to removing the instrument cluster.

This was my first DIY when I bought my Q. The two bulbs behind your odometer are burned out. You can buy them from the dealer for about $6 apiece unless you are ordering more items then you should get them from Joe. The P/N you need is in one of the posts. It took me about an hour but take your time removing all the trim pieces so you don't break anything.
