Ok, before anybody says anything, yes I know I suck at computers.

Anways, a while ago a pop-up type bar showed up on my IE web browser, its called Loud Gram. It has a little search function as well as some other crap on it. It's really annoying. I've done everything I can think of to get rid of it. I got spybot. I went into add/remove programs, but it wasn't there.

So does anybody know how I can get this thing of my IE?

download ad-aware and give that a shot. just remember to update the detection files before you scan.

if that doesnt work, you can disable the toolbar by opening IE, go to the controls [file, edit, view, ect.] click view-toolbars-and uncheck loud gram.

i could walk you through a manual removal of the program, but that will take about half an hour.

also, if your not comfortable being directed through the registry, the manual removal wont work.

i would have to tell you how to step through the clsid and typelib.

then you have to find the programs registered dll's in the registry. you have to unregister them, delete them from %systemroot%/ and %systemroot%/system32

then removal of all references in the registry.

its a PITA.

Spybot and adware will take care of that. Have both, as theres overlap, but they both find stuff the other didnt.....
