computer chip

can anyone tell me if I have a "chip" installed (by a pro) if it is necessary toupgrade/change to aftermarket intake/ exhaust or is the stock good enough the chip is said to give 84 whp and i was told that upgrades not needed but i want a second opinion. I run a blend and would upgrade to full synthetic if I can get an opinion that it is betteri will do itthankstehillimzugger

84 hp with no other upgrades sounds fishy. 84 hp is probably the most you can get w/chip and upgrades before the chip is no longer effective.

I agree with driftingmy240sx 84whp gain is fishy but could be possible on a 350z. The other mods may not be needed, but they will help a lot, and they will make your car sound better . As far as the oil, the blend is probably fine, but the synthetic wouldn't hurt anything
