ok I have read and searched and read some more but I still cant find a real answer to my problem. My blow off valve sounds sorta like a hks ssqv but It is compressor surge. I have no clue why it is surging. It is on the cold pipe and all vac lines are hooked up properly. The bov is a cheap bov, could it just be cheap broken piece or is there somthing that I am doing wrong.

Perfectly normal to hear that. Surge is a much different sound.

I have the greddy rs bov and it use to flutter. All I had to do was loosen the spring setting a little and it solved my problem. My bov almost sounded like a gobble. What bov are you using?

If it was a gobble (high pitched) then probably surge.... If it's just flutter like air compressor then you'll be alright...

are you recirculating it? if so which fitting are you using for the recirculation? I upgraded to a larger fitting 30mm I think? removed one of the springs and got it to stop, then it just whistled all the time so I said "F" the RS and switched to a 1st gen DSM the only time I got my RS to work right was running open atmosphere but then I got tired of backfiring. *sigh* I've never had a correctly working BOV since going KAT
