dont quote me for sure, but if i remember correctly, should read between 150-180 depending on the condition of the motor. Also there shouldnt be a loss of more than 10 psi between each cylinder.

If its lower than say 150, time for a rebuild or swap!!

Someone correct me if im wrong

thanks for the compression reading, i was going to test my compression b/c i want to make sure that it is not my motor acting up. The car is running very rough, like it is missing. I gave it a tune up and it will not idle. It feels like a fuel problem maybe an injector. I rplace one last year but how can you tell that it is an injector. I plan to replace the distributor and fuel filter. The car blow out a little blue smoke and burns a little oil. My old plugs were black with no oil on them , but my car is now burning alot of black smoke . any ideas other than me to take her in to the shop. thanks

disconnect the wires to the injectors and check the injectors resistance reading they should be around 13 ohms i think
