compression test

i want to do a compression test on an engine that's been pulled out... it's have the motor, transmission, and starter (all the parts for the test) question is how do you power the starter to crank the engine?

your going to need a fully charged battery. hook it up, and im pretty sure the signal wire for the starter is +12v but im not sure, check your fsm for that bit of information.

you need positive for the ignition wire and positive constant for solenoid. two postives.
