I did a compression test on my motor today. I over boosted about 2 months ago and just got it back together after thinking it was just the head gasket....I didn't run any tests before I pulled the head....stupid me. But the results were no good.... 110 110 70 110 105 110 I"m ordering a block and head from venus tomorrow that I have on hold. And hopefully will be runnign by the end of the weekend.

A leakdown test is a better t/s tool as it lets you know exactally what is bad rings or valves and how bad they are.. #3 has some thing going on should be tested further..

I'm just getting a new block and head. If the valves are screwed up then I dont want to have to replace them, and if it is just the ring in the 3rd cylinder I don't want to rering the whole block. It's pretty cheap for the block and head so I'm just doing that

there are alot of variables that go into a compression test. so posting numbers isnt gonna be the same for every person.

just know all cylinders should be within 10-15 anymore than that you may need a leakdown test.

my rb25's were 165-175 on all 6
