I did a compression test on my KA24DE and this is what it came back as:12012012090

That seems really low. should I rebuild it? what is normal compression? I thought it should be up in the 150 plus range.

start by unplugging all the injectors

make sure you are turning the engine at full speed, with the throttle pushed down all the way and only stop when the needle on the compression gauge stops increasing.

Sorry, I guess I didnt answer your question.

My past engines have had near 200psi compression across the board, but I think my gauge is reading a little high.

Mine is reading 180 across the bored. but i didnt open the throttle. i just cranked it over. i heard that if its under 150 you should consider a rebuild.
