Before I went to Ocean City my compression was 180-185-180-185 but after I drifted on the street i avoid hitting the curb and hard braked and my car backfired and stalled out. The cone filter on my maf sensor came off and I drove a whole day with it off without noticing.
I have a KA24DET. I noticed throughout the day that my car has been "sluggisH". At low rpms and such my car would boggle and drive slow as hell and throttle response felt like the car was gonna stall everytime i touched the gas pedal, but then the rpms would go up slowly. WHEN I hit boost, the car would seem to drive almost perfect, except it still had the delayed throttle response.
I came home and re-did my compression test and the results were 195-90-90-195. What is this supposed to mean? Do I have cracked piston rings? I also took my MAF sensor out and sprayed it and my car felt a little better but it still had delayed throttle response.
And whenever my car stalls out in the road, I literally cannot crank it back up because I think it randomly ran rich as hell. I would have to push my car down a hill and then force it by a rolling start AND IT WOULD WORK. But I was not able to crank it up normally ONLY if my car stalled out when I was driving. On normal start up, I have to hold the gas pedal slightly to turn on the car, otherwise it would bog up and down and stall.
ALSO NOTE: There is no visible white smoke coming out of my exhaust, BUT oil is leaking out of my breather tube.
Help me please I'm a dumb a**.
