i had done a compression test today, but every 10A fuse i pulled never shut off the fuel pump. I just did a sohc to dohc swap. Anyideas???i ended up doing the compression test with just the coil wire unplugged and i got 177,172,175,171... are these no good readings since there was still fuel pressure?

i dont think fuel affects pressure, its just for safety for equipment and you.

you need a compression tester and a socket to fit the spark plugs to remove them. make sure the battery is fully charged, wide open throttle, and all plugs are out. lable the plug wires before removal so you dont get them mixed up.
