Compression Test Good, does it tell me if the valves are bent at all.

Its the difference between possible selling the car, fixing the timing chain and guide(800$) or doing a swap to another KA24de.

If anyone is selling a KA by the way, let me know. I' in the DC VA MD area.I literally have 3 days to make a decision.

Bent valves will throw compression off, it did mine by ALOT. I was running 90s and lower in some cylinders.

Find someone that can the timing chain and guide( $800 is insane. Its not hard, AT ALL. Parts will run you UNDER $100. Autozone timing kit is like 80 bucks(Guides, new tensioner, chain, spockets). Then just silicone to seal the front cover.

Its a shop that's doing the work. That's why so much. I would do the work myself, but I'm at a temporary job that pays ridiculously well so I want to get the work done as soon as possible so I can be on the road.
