My 93 240sx SE Fastback is having some problems. It sounds like a WRX. If i park rite next to my friends WRX you can't tell the difference between our cars. But I'll get to the point. I replaced my distrbutor, rotor button, and ignition ccables. The engine still sounds the same. I'm just afraid that one of my valves may be leaking. I need help seriously.

Basically the car shakes like an earthquake and losing power with it. If I'm lucky once in a while the car runs great for like a min. or so then it starts shaking up again. I seriously don't know what's going on wit the car now.

Check your timing & check for exhaust leaks.

make sure your spark plugs aren't soaked in oil - if you're removed the valve cover recently you could have ****ed up and gotten oil onto the plugs - happened to me. easy fix- get some new plugs...

Distributor, rotor, and spark plugs were all replaced and it still sounds the same. the car shakes but then once in a awhile it runs really smooth and then you give some gas and then it starts shaking again. i'm thinking it's a dead fuel injector.

well, unplug each injector connecter and listen for a change in engine rpms. If you have a bad injector, you should hear no change in rpm's. When my injector went bad on my sr, it ran like poop, the car backfired flames and I had the worst gas mileage ever.

Its a fuel injector. I had the exact same problem- sounds like a truck and nop power at all, comes in and out intermitantly. Figure out which injector it is, replace it and it'll run fine. Oh, that and check to make sure theres no water or anything down in your spark plug holes, that'll short out the wires and make it do the exact same thing.
