i just redid the timing on my ka24de followed the marks to the T even taking the gears off and inspecting them and lining up the silver links. i put it back together and it wont start, its getting fuel, spark, and air so i checked the compression and it is as follow cyl1--68 cyl2--70 cyl3--74 cyl4--74 any clue here? im also getting a 21 for ignition signal and 34 for detonation im running a manual harness on what used to be an automatic car that was swapped by previous owner.

as annoying as it might be, take it off and inspect and install it again and quadruple check the timing. from my experience those numbers are very low. but they are all close to each other which is a good sign.

another option do a leak down test, it will tell you more.
