Ok ive got a sr20det red top with about 2000 miles on it since rebuilt it has areis pistons and eagle rods with a stock head. I did a compression test and its at about 120psi is this normal. My brothers sr was 120psi across the board as well. It idles strong though. Right now im getting lots of blow by oil my catch can fills up with in a few minutes of abuse. I never had this problem before. Im not running a bov either idk if that could affect anything its garret 57 trim bottom mounted on 10psi if that matters. I would hate to thing my turbos seals are going or my piston rings didn't seat properly im open to any advice thanks.

If they are both reading 120 on all 4 cylinders, I would be more willing to believe your gauge is off..

Yeah but your still getting a lot of blow by. Could be the turbo though, is the car smoking at all? I would try and borrower a leakdown tester that will give you some more info. If you get 120psi with 8% leak down it's probably your turbo and your block is good. If you getting 120psi with 30% leak down your piston rings are probably fried or were never properly broken in.

It somkes sometimes not all the time usually when i hit boost but will only smoke for like 3 pulls then goes away then will do it again after a while of driving but the oil fouls out all the sensors and makes it run rough so i have to clean everything and do it again. I almost thinking its the comppressor seal on the turbo. Not a 100% sure but ill do another comppresion test and leak down test to find out.
