Hey guys,
Figured I would share my KA24DETT build! The car will be running tomorrow night. We only have a few hours in fabrication into it and only a few more left.

Why? Because I can. This build is basically to shut up people who throw on kits or just drop in bigger motors and think their car is fast. The car is being labeled the 2JZEATER.
Anyone who knows me already knows that I build things out of the ordinary, the last car I built was a rear mounted y33 Q45.

To cover some concerns: The BMC will be dele ted and I will be running the new Wilwood kit for my brakes.

I am full time diesel mechanic/shop owner and took the idea off some of the turbo kits we have installed in the past. Basically we have a T04E feeding a T70 turbo. This motor will be pushed until it blows, we are hoping for the 600+hp range.

Piping fabbed up, not welded yet.

Downpipe will only be about 5" long and go right out under the car.

I will keep updating as the build goes. Lots of fab pics on the way!

Just a couple pictures of the updates, we got the base motor in instead of the junk motor. This is the motor that WILL be pushed to its breaking point. It's a 0 mile 100% OE rebuilt motor.

I am in the middle of a swap myself and noticed I might be able to mount a supercharger on the old power steering bracket. Since you are a diesel mechanic and based upon what you are doing here, I expect you have experience with multistage supercharging.

What is the advantage of staged supercharging over a single compressor pushing higher boost?

That's a sick manifold bro. You should have a very good power band with the compound setup. Charts would be nice to see when you get it dynoed.

Less lag. Supercharger brings the car up to speed, then turbo takes over.
It's how Lancia great throttle response out of the 1.8 liter 4 cylinder for their Delta S4 Group B rally car.

A sequential turbo setup like S13xCrazy is good too, but since it's turbo, it'll have a bit of turbo lag.
I believe on factory sequential turbo setups, there is a valve that sends most of the exhaust into the smaller turbo, then at a certain psi, all the exhaust gasses are sent to the big turbo. In some cases,I think it was the Rx7, the small turbo is completely cut off from exhaust gasses and only the big turbo is fed.

Very cool setup man! I'm interested to see how it turns out.
One thing I'm wondering is, why you're making the smaller turbo feed the larger turbo.
Wouldn't it be better if you made them their own intakes like people do on RBs and rotaries?
I feel like the small turbo might not be able to keep up with the big turbo's demands.

Thats actually a pretty wild setup. You will be making a ton of heat though. Im hoping for dyno numbers and your thoughts on drivability soon.
