#1: Where can I find a tool to de pin the connectors?#2: What is the best tape to use to wrap the final harness?#3: Where can I easily find shielded wire for the MAF/knock sensor?#4: Anyone have a nice link to a pin out diagram? I have the FSM, but I want to print something out easily.

I am planning on pulling the upper and lower harnesses, stripping off all the tape, de pinning stuff like the FCID and stock boost control solenoid wires, and rewrapping it all so it will be nice and tidy. This is so I can get a chip, Z32 MAF, and SAFCII and shoot for a little more grunt with reliable electrons.

#1: Good luck. I've looked all over for one and never found one. I KNOW they have to make it, but I don't know where to get it. #2: They make looming "tape". It's not really tape per se, but it's water proof. It's not actually sticky, but it sticks and seals to itself. It'll look like a big roll of black electrical tape, but when you unroll it, you have to peel this backing off of it to get it to stick to itself. It's kinda strechy too. I just get it at O'Reilly's.#3: IDK, where you can get sheilded wire at, but I know they make this sticky metallic tape stuff that you can wrap the wires in and it will perform the same. Radioshack?#4: See attachment FTW...

if you get creative you can make a de-pinner tool out of a paperclip.

you have to have good eyes to see what you are doing though.

make a pin removal tool out of a paper clip or somthing.

3M super +33 tape is the best electical tape to use on wiring and as bandages, super strechy and it holds togther in all weather.

also i have this bad *** sheathing stuff ive been using its kinda like a chinese finger trap thing, mess weave that expands like 150% then tightens down to hug the wires like shrink wrap. http://partsexpress.com/ they are a block from my shop if you want to buy it let me know i can ship it for you if they over charge shipping.

i also have some SS braiding that goes over normal wire to create a tight sheilding its 25cent a foot but looks great.

if you want the last two things let me know i can get them both for you.

i tool i use was a took kit i found at autozone.....or any hardware store ........it come in a 4 pack ......looks like a bunch of scredrivers but the other end is pins with different angles so u can get into the hole to unlock the pins.....

the tape for the final harness i just used elecric tape..then the plastic shield ...then electric tape over the plastic shield

.for wires that u soldered ....dont use electric tape ......use shrink tubing .....u can find that in homedepot or lowes or OSH ....even auto parts stores ........this shields the open wires from water too

diagrams i dont know .....im going stand alone hahaha...autronic YAY

Pin removal tools can be had at a number of places. Grainger, Wurth, or your local Autozone. Look for a neighborhood electronics store or an industrial liquidators shop, as they will more than likely have all you need, including the shielded wire.

Raychem is the best harness covering.
