Alright, for the past couple weeks I've been struggling with my 240 to figure out whats wrong with it. Two weeks ago I took the car up to the dyno to get tuned for 370cc injectors and an SAFC. The car ran great after the tune, but a few days later while taking a two minute drive back to my house, the motor cut out... I look under the hood and see no obvious causes, but check the oil and see that there is none in there. (The oil was checked a week before and was full). There were no signs anywhere on the car of the missing 4 quarts of oil, and I hadn't really noticed any whitish blue smoke that would indicate the oil burning (Though it's definetly possible I missed it). I added four quarts of oil and the car started right back up with no knocking or signs of damage. I guess because the car is a 95 OBDII the car may have cut itself out to save the motor once it realised it was so low on oil. I drove the car up to Jeff at CIP to let him take a look at it and get some much needed advice and we still found no signs of the missing oil. The car was driving fine so I took it home and drove it for a few days, watching it extremely closely. I started to notice smoke coming out of the exhaust under boost, and later that night the motor gave out again. I immediately check the oil again and there is still oil in it. I let the car sit for a second and then turn the ignition and the car starts right up. I would not have driven it but the car died on a blind corner and my friend lived 30 seconds away. So I drove the car to his house and left it. After several paniced calls back to Jeff at CIP, I pulled the intake piping and hot pipe to check the used t25, and found no oil on the pipes or shaft play in the turbo. I then ran a compression test and got 200psi on each cylinder. (Higher than FSM suggests, but no drops between cylinders) So I don't think its the turbo or the cylinder rings. I'm stumped as to what could be wrong. After talking to some people I though that maybe my low throttle map could be running too rich and gas is getting into the oil causing it too thin out enough to leak through the cylinder rings and burn. I leaned out the low throttle map very slightly (maybe too slightly) and changed the oil. The car ran fine for about five days, but last night while driving home the motor gave out again. I had boosted the motor earlier that night. There was about a quart of oil missing but I had checked the oil a couple hours before and it was full. It seems like a lot of oil to be burning in such a short amount of time. I added another quart of oil and I was able to drive it back to my house.

I apologize for the long post but I'm completely confused as to what is going wrong. Any suggestion are would be awesome! HELP!

wow that really is some story youve got here. maybe the oil is exiting through the exhaust side of the turbo. take your downpipe off and check that. i highly doubt youll be dumping enough fuel in to where it wouldnt get burnt and run down the cylinder walls and thin out the oil to then be burnt. if you were dumping in that much fuel for it to do that your car wouldnt run at all. btw 95s are obd1. so you have no puddles of oil when you park nor oil dripping from your drain line, feed, pan gasket, anywhere on the motor?? only thing i can think of is its exiting through the turbine side of your turbo. you are losing LOTS of oil though.

Hey thanks for the quick reply, the car actually is a 1995 OBDII (some 95s produced later in the year were OBD II) I actually had the oppertunity to plug into an OBDII checker the other day and got codes related to both front and rear O2 sensor, camshaft postition sensor, and crankshaft sensor. I don't know if this could be related to the issue at hand in anyway, or just the result of an eleven year old car?

I dunno, if you were burning that much oil under boost, you'd see the clouds of thick blue smoke coming out the back.. I mena CLOUDS. maybe its leaking while your driving, have you checked your transmission casing and that area for oil residue that was blown on there from the wind from the car moving..
