Completely OT. Is anyone going to the Red Bull air races in San Diego?

I went to these last year and loved it. I am going to be visiting my grandmother in Orange County that weekend and would like to go again. This year I can only make it to qualifying on Saturday since Sunday is Mother's Day. I would be down there alone and thought it might be cool to have a row of pathys and Q's in the parking lot.

My plans are still a little up in the air. It is a 16 hour drive to OC but I haven't seen granny in a year so I would like to go.

i used to live in downtown, with a view, last time they had these i was watching from my bedroom window i'd totally be down for an SD meet sometime, unfortunately i already have camping plans for that weekend.
