actually the benz holds more coolant and motor oil than the q.... but less transmission fluid

lets face it,a q treated the same way would.........be dead by now!

Is it a three speed? I thought most usually held about 18 qts., depending on model. But a a 2.8L or 3L six is much less powerful than a 4.5L V8.

Any car would be dead with no new fluid in 225K miles. Have you checked your ATF lately? White paper towel test?

Brian the benz is a 4.2 liter dohc v8 5 speed automatic never looked at fluid as there is no dipstickshe keeps on going despite the abuse at 242,000 + milesonce,it was actually treated to a 24,000-25,000 mile oil interval on quaker state dino{ mb dealer } when the normal 6 month 12k interval was forgotten- cant seem to kill the beast!

the Q gets treated like a porcelin chinadoll
