I know that versa needs specific nissan transmission oil for the flush.
Mine has about 76000 miles on now and wondering if I should complete transmission flush from dealership.

But I found out that transmission specialists are strongly disagreeing from complete flush..

Is this true?

I did transmission fluid exchange about eight months ago.

Also, I know fuild exchange's interval is about 30,000 to 40,000 miles but what is the interval for the complete flush?

By "transmission fluid exchange" do you mean you did a drain & fill, or used the transmission cooler return line to exchange all of the fluid?

What I did eight months ago was drain and refill.
I believe it wasn't complete drain.

A drain and fill only remove a few quarts of trans fluid out of the system. when you do the complete system flush you replace all fluid and contaminates from the transmission and replace with new fluid about 14 qts.

I assume you have the A/T not the CVT.

A complete flush for the A/T is recommended every 30k miles per Nissan and the CVT is due every 60k.

technically the CVT fluid is a life time fluid according to Nissan but I have a thing about that myself. Fluid wears out in my book no matter what kind of oil or fluid it is but I also recommend it at 60K if it has a slight burnt smell to it. But its not really due. If you check the service manual your car came with, its says CHECK CVT fluid @ 60K...Not replace.

For the record CVT fluid is not life time. It should be changed if it becomes discolored, has visible contamination or smells burnt. Check for these conditions every 15K. Change at 60K if you don't have a consult II to check the deterioration.

For me i will change my CVT fluid every 60k. I'd rather be save then push the mileage and possibly damage the Transmission.
