I'm looking at getting a set of custom wheels made. Since they will to make wheels for any bolt pattern, I was curiouse as to what would be a good offset for the 4lug lug on the S13.

I was thinkingfront: 17x8 offset 35rear: 17x9.5 offset 22

can you tech guys shed some light

http://www.ccwheel.comlooking at the 5 spoke that they have, or maybe the track mesh wheels.

You got the offsets backwards IMO...if you're set on those widths.

But more importantly: What do you do with the car? Track events, auto-x, drag, just street driving...?????

Makes a huge difference in wheel choice.

I like no stagger...there's no reason for it most the time...people do it for style, not function.

Need more info to really be helpful.

I hope you're loaded.

You get what you pay for, I guess. And you can't go wrong with CCW(unless you're poor and end up in serious debt).

Anyway, on ccw's web site, they have a forum where you can communicate directly with the company. Try posting there and see what they can do for you.

thanks.

I'm going to drive the car daily, and since I'm looking at getting the wheels made in a 4lug I'll be able to use my stock wheels for autox, and when ever I'll be rough on the wheels.

I didn't see the place where you can contact them earlier. Thanks.

I would play with the wheel offset calculater if you havent already, it will tell you how much of a change in the inner and outer clearances their will be with a given wheel size..http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html

also if you autox competitivly id think that the better wheels would be put to best use on the track, rather then using 8 and 9 inch custom wheels for daily driving and 6 inch steal wheels for racing...

a little of both, I don't do hard core racing or anythingmy car is a street driven car and might see the track and what not every now and then but 99.9% of the time its gonna be street.

Problem with that?
