I would not even consider a Bose system, if I were to take the original one out. In the SQ world of car audio there is a little slogan going around “BOSE BLOWS”.While I don’t like degrading anyone’s work, I have to say that sound quality wise, the Bose systems leave a lot to be desired.

I did enjoy the Bose system in the J30 I test drove, and have yet to try it in the FY33. Any medium priced aftermarket system would probably sound better, but the stock look and simple controls are so nice.

In fairness, I have never had problems with my Clarion head unit (OEM Bose system, 92 Q).

What's the difference vs the 94+ G50 sound system..

I think it has more speakers, did they include a sub in the Y33 bose system?

it would be to use the pathfinder 6 disc in dash double din with a mix of speakers.
