Hi all just wanted to say thanks in advance for any answers :)

So I'm doing a complete A/C Rehaul, I have already ordered the parts A/C Compressor KIt (comes with Compressor/Drier/Expansion Valve/Orings, I also ordered a Condenser, The only thing i didn't get is a
new evaporator, In total I was able to get the parts above for $200.00 and thats including a extra 6mo
warranty on the compressor.

My question really is as follows, Shoud/Do I need to replace the evaporator core or is it something thats possibly flushable, I know the drier is a must but I'm just wondering if i should sport the extra $50.00 and grab a evaporator aswell, but if i can skip it and possibly just clean it up that would be even better imo, anyways thanks for any feedback given and if you have any tips/tricks on a AC rehaul please let me know

Also i did hook up manifold gauges and when turning the AC on the pressure would dip a LITTLE bit like 2-5 if that but then go right back to the pressure it was at previously regardless if the car was on off or the ac and the compressor has a clicking noise while running (Yes the clutch engages and disengages correctly)

Why are you doing this? Did you have it checked out? -- if the compressor did not blow up internally -- sending parts everywhere. You just need to replace the compressor and the receiver dryer? I would not replace the OE evap or condenser unless there is a need.

The hoses are more likely to leak vs the evaporation
