Ok its not really a complaint as much as it is a request. I was just wondering why we don't have a Racing section like A LOT of the other forum based sites on the web. I think its really nice to have all of these threads in one place instead of me having to search for them one by one. Did you guys already try this in the past and it didn't work out? Just a suggestion that I hope you act on. Other than that I love this place

NO I disagree... I think that all these forums are sectioning every damn little niche off and we lose that sense of group. People post only in KA or SR and don't come together anymore. It makes it great because when I go kat I just go to the kat forum and all the answers are there.BUT, I don't get to cuss at like 90% of the people on here! no more forums, its good as it is. If anything less!

Yes it is very true. I have learned first hand about this whole ordeal about sr and kat. When I asked about it in the general section I get a ton of search this and cuss that. But when I ask about the same thing in there respective sections then I get my answers and a whole lot less crap for it too. my sig is exscript of one of the comments from the forementioned thread.

Temjin - Good feedback.

One thing I strive for here is to make sure ALL such requests at least get considered. It may not happen right away (or at all), but you can bet your feedback and suggestions do NOT fall on deaf ears here.

yeah every since the ka and sr boards were seperate we haven't got enough "ka vs sr" threads. I guess that is a plus!I'm not sure I understand just what you wanna put in the racing thread that wouldn't be redundant tho...suggestions?

See the problem is Im not sure where to post my autocross questions. When I was part of the MR2 forums it was clear where I need to post about that stuff. And because I posted in that section I was garenteed answers by people who do autocross, not just some people who happen to be reading the general section of the forums area. Not that you guys aren't well educated in the area of motorsports, I can tell from some of your conversations (Ive learned a lot) but.....

Just tossing in my opinion, but yeah Nico is awsome other than that little thing. The CA section could use some more people though;)

i think i see what you're saying. a motorsports section wouldnt be bad. people can talk rally, autoX, drag, road racing, etc. however, i dont think we should have a condoned street racing section, thats just dumb.

We dont need a racing forum, we need a Vs. forum, a dedicated "black hole" of sorts where all the SR vs KA, or 240sx vs. convertible mustang, or even Q45 vs. pinto threads go. THEN, everyone could get their jollies off arguing in a dedicated place, far far away from me :)

I think a "vs." forum is not the best idea, no offense. It really sickens me on other forums seeing"Kill Section" or "Racing Stories". We need to be sure and maintain the integrity of NICO as a responsible place for Nissan addicts to get togeather and talk about cars. Not a place to brag about the must dumb a$$ idea ever: Street racing.

Now a dedicated "Motorspot" section would be nice, but the mods should be directed to lock, delete, and warn all people that start threads openly condoning street racing or street drift.

No no, this is a DIFFERENT kind of vs. forums. I'd of course be moderator and delete anything that sounded halfway intelligent, or did not fall into what I thought the forum should be about (which would of course change daily, possibly through a dice rolling system).

Exactly, it'd be for all the theoretical posts, like "Will my stock 89 240sx beat a Panoz Esperante?" or "Which is better, KA SR RB or CA?" Occasionally, I'd let p0rn be posted in my forum too...just to spice it up a bit, kinda like the Others forum we have now :)

heh try joining the QR section, that's a ghost town. I come to nico to chitchat, and I go to the Vboards to do anything productive.

the "kill" forum might as well be called the "bulll****" forums and thats what we have general chat for.

I agree with having a racing section.....but the legal kind of racing. Talk about any racing series coming up or questions regarding rules/regulations etc. I think it'd be great. I had a lot of questions when I started auto x and drag racing way back but I just looked to other people involved in it at home. It'd be awesome to talk about it with people that owned the same car. :)
