I have a Nissan Sentra 2006 Special Edition, I am currently having issues with my Rockford Fosgate radio. The display flickers and sometimes it will go dead, I am not able to use any of the buttons except the volume works. If someone could give me some advice on what radio model will be compatiable with the 6 CD disk changer and the sub, I would greatly aprreciate it!!!! Thank you in advance.

The only thing that would be compatible with everything is the factory radio. I know that a few of the factory bose units in some of the older cars had issues with a ribbon cable not being perfectly tied down, and this sounds like it might be a similar issue. If you are up to pulling it apart you might be able to fix it yourself. If not, there's a sticky thread in the audio and security forum for a person who fixes the factory stereos.

How do I get the dash cover off? Is it as simple as prying it off with a flat head screw driver?

It looks to be that way. Make sure there are absolutely no screws securing the cover on, and then carefully pry it away with a flathead screwdriver. What I usually do is put a rag over the end of the flathead to soften it a bit. This makes it easier to get it off without cracking. Don't force it off. If its not trying to come off, something is holding it on there.

If you can use a putty knife, the don't leave as many marks on the dash. Be gentle, if it feels like you're forcing something, there's probably a hidden screw somewhere.

If there are hidden screws then what can I do? How can I remove the screws?
