I just bought a 2010 Murano, and I really like it. The one thing I wish it had was an easier way to get music into the Music Box. A couple of questions before I go spending money on a CompactFlash card and reader.

Can I download songs directly from iTunes onto the CompactFlash card and have the system recognize the songs? I don't think the format is exactly MP3.

What is the size limit of the CompactFlash card it can handle? I saw that in 2008, someone on this forum said it was 2G, is that still the case?

So far as I can tell, the system will not read Apple format files on the CF card, only MP3 and WMA file types (see page 4-37 of the 2009 Owners Manual - not sure what page that is in the 2010 version)

The size limit is 512 files (songs) and 255 folders if you have a Navigation system, otherwise it is 999 files and folders (apparently in whatever combination adds to that 999 total). You can use a larger than 2GB CF card, but it will not see any files past these limits.
