Compact Disc plays but won't eject??!

98 i30 with bose system; the in-dash CD unit will play, but when i press the eject button it just makes the usual motor sound, but doesn't remove the CD.

Anyone encounter this? Solutions?

i fill your pain man. i dont have bose but mine wont eject the lights in it dont work and some times it wont even play.

Unfortunately these Bose systems in our older max's are junk. Aftermarket is the way to go. You can pick up a stereo that will play mp3 discs or even connect up to an mp3 player for very little cash nowadays. Don't bother getting the factory unit fixed.ROLL TIDE BRO!
