Sorry, because I didn't translate my question. Well gentlemen, I have a Nissan Versa s 2007 CVT and I want to know how the right procedure to regulate the brakes is. In the garage where I have taken my car they have told me that the only way to do it is taking out the wheel and drum, another mechanic has told me to start to go back and put up the hand brake and that's the way the car is going to regulate itself. The truth is that the only to regulate that I have seen is lifting the car and do it under it. I would appreciatte if you can help me to know what the right procedure is.

what do you mean by "regulate the brakes"? I don't know what procedure you are asking about.

Possibly looking for information to adjust the rear brakes. In some vehicles using the emergency brake operates the rear self-adjusters on the brakes. There is a plug on the rear backing plate that allows for adjustment of the self-adjusters.

Hello, when the brakes are long, the distance to brake is bigger, also when you put your hand brake up, you can notice that it's too long, for that reason we regulate the brakes. For the back part of the vehicle behind the rear wheels in the drum there is a hole and for that hole we regulate the brakes using a tool, of course that we are regulating the rear wheels not the front ones, because the front ones are regulated by themselves. My Versa doesn't have the hole to regulate the brakes, so the mechanic says that we have to take out the wheel and the drum and to regulate using that procedure. That's my doubt probably there's another way to regulate them, because I don't think that each time that I want to regulate the brakes, I have to take out my wheels. The problem in Peru is that the dealer of Nissan do not attend any car that was not bought here in Peru. With the traffic that we have in Peru, you have to stop the car each 10 meters. Thanks for your answer, I hope to be clear with this information.
