Common Problems?

Ok so I want to buy a fairlady but before I do I have a few questions.

a.) What are some common problems I'll be facing after I buy the car and start playing with it? I understand the engine bay is crammed so that must be one. Anything else I should know?

b.) I only have about $4500 to work with and I'm aiming for turbos. A friend of mine said that would cost a grip. So I thought it would be easier to buy a JDM VG30/32DETT (not quite familiar with the codes yet) and put that in a body with a blown engine. Figure the engine will be $2500 and the body $1000 and pay someone to install for another $1000. Are my numbers right?

why not just buy a TT? the works already done and you can start driving it, as fro common problems look around and you'll see recent threads asking the same question, and it is very rare to see a car with a bad motor, truth is with maintenance they are quite reliable, granted your budget doesn't seem to allow for much, I've seen quite a few in the 5k range but they are generally pretty rough, for 7-10k you can get a really nice TT, amybe you'll luck into a deal with a blown motor but don't count on it
