Common J30 Problem?

I get an intermittent (maybe 50/50) brake light warning light on my gauge cluster. I checked the connection, then changed the bulb. Still comes on on occasion.

I had the exact same problem on the '94 J, though after 6-8 months it stopped all together.

Anyone know of a relay location on the brake lights?

Anyone else have this problem? It seems it must be common since I've had the problem in both my Js.

well if the bulbs and conections are good, you might check the operation of the tail lamp sensor. it is usualy a broken solder on the board that can be easly repaired.
