Common 240sx problems

I'm looking to buy a 1995 Auto 240sx and would like to know what kind of common problems they have.

but seriously, RUST that's the biggest problem, and try and find one closest to stock as possible, it will save you a major headache later on.

Get a OBDI 95' make sure you don't get a obd2

And it all depends on how the person who owned it before you took care of it. If they did that, it shouldn't have any problems except the usual wear and tear.

Just make sure you run the vin on the car first before you jump into anything. And wait it out, if you're iffy on the purchase, another will come along soon don't worry.

hey, im new to the nissan, but i have a 95 240 i bought last april. i know the front speakers will crap out and its not something just a simple cd head unit install will fix.

rust is a problem since i live in western NY... but check the drivers frame rail below the fire wall... when break/clutch fluid is spilled then the paint will come off and then rust will form.

also check the condition of the body... if colision work has been done then water leaks near the glass or around the tail lights will cause mildew and then smell up the int.
