She wasn't dead when she hit the windshield. But she was crazy.

Not a windshield/death incident, but my Lincoln ate one of those massive B52 dragonflies today. I was cruising along a 55mph frontage road with all the windows down and I saw something fling through the front passenger window out of the corner of my eye, then heard it thunk/crackle against the backlight. Turned around to find an enormous green/brown dragonfly lying immobile on the parcel shelf. I'm just glad it didn't peg me in the face.

I've hit a turkey and some little bird, but the worst was this huge bug with eggs hit me in my glove when riding my motorcycle. The eggs then splattered all over my jacket and helmet. That was hard to clean up!

I caught something the size of a large dragonfly right in the forehead at about 60 mph on my bike. I had the visor of my helmet up. It left a hell of a welt and I almost crashed it stunned me for a second. I pulled over into the first gas station I saw to clean the guts out of my hair. the guys at the station were grossed out and laughing when I told them what happened. Visor down, lesson learned.
