Hello,

I was looking for any comments on if this is a good deal. Yeah I can use KBB.com but I think it's so outdated it's worthless. I wish I had blackbook.

Here it is

Certified Pre-owned 2006 M35 Sport Twilight Blue, Stone leather, Chrome wheels , Tech and Journey package has bkup camera(not sure if that's in a package or option) w/ 33,000 miles. Its listed for 25,995

Sorry in advance if this topic breaks a forum rule I haven't discovered yet

Every time someone post something like this i get a stabbing pain in my gut. I have the exact car same car & bought a year ago with exact same mileage at the time. I paid 33.5k and that was steal compared to everything else that was ~37. I haven't look to see what prices are now.....but

If you can get it for 25k?? Wow....recession + (at one time) high gas + depreciation = Jump on this bad boy now. Run carfax 1st or buy extended warranty. A friend of mine showed me one on Ebay at this price a few months back...but it had salvage title or damage or something.

That sounds like a steal to me...I'm in the process of purchasing one the same exact year but the mileage is 50,000 and the dealer is asking me $22,000 with the 4 year warranty added...I love the car but i'm just really wondering whats the deal with the steering pull issue or tramlining

AD1787, I think you can do better than $26K. I bought a 2007 M35 Sport with 24K miles, adv. tech, journey, aero kit, wood trim for $28.5K just a couple of months back. In this economy, these cars are not selling that easily. I could have easily got it for 1500 less if I hadn't fallen in love with the car at first site Some other similar cars that I had in my watch list haven't sold even after two months.

AD1787:

I bought my '06 M35 w/29k miles on it for $26K. I thought that it was a steal because KBB, Edmunds had her valued at $34K. Curiousity had me checking prices around the USA. It depends on where you purcase your car. I live in South Texas and found that the M35 was still selling in the $30K range with comparable mileage.

I saw one in NYC last month that was fully loaded selling for $16K and 40K miles. I had to see why it was so inexpensive. The dealer listed the car as excellent condition until i opened the door and the interior absolutely REEKED from cigarette smoke. I couldn't even sit in it for long. I can only imagine how she drove or how bad the engine might've been ragged out, or how bad the suspension trashed by those horrible NYC roads.

research the prices of the cars in your area, thats the best way to find out if your getting screwed or not. Now if you car has 10 miles on it and it was hermetically sealed.......thats another story..LOL

Good Luck with your M!

on December 2 I bought a 2006 M35 with journey and tech packages with just about everything available for $22,995. Mileage was 35,980 and the original sales date was May 31,2006 so I have a factory warranty till May 2010. I think the down economy is making the dealers kind of desperate. The original window sticker had the car priced something like $48,750 if memory is correct
