I just got a 91 TT 300zx, I have been wanting another z since my 88 300zx was stolen/totaled. So now I have come back to the world of the Z only to realize that I know very little about the DOHC VG30TT platform. So it will be a learning experience especially since I need to get my new TT running Ill get some pics up and such. Im trying to find a FSM of some sort of chiltons because the z is missing injectors for certain and most likely other things but I dont know what should be where so its a educated guessing game! . Maybe ill get some pics up soon but its good to be back

I found this online, basically looks like an online version of a pdf manual that is floating around good source i think. Good luck, I can't say welcome back as i am a newb myself lol but am enjoying it so far. I haven't found anything else other than post here and there. If you find a source for part numbers let me know, I haven't found any catalog or whatever.

Welcome back to the Z family!
As for the service manual, I'm glad you found a couple online as they're very handy. You should check with our sponsors and see if any can source you a paper copy. For me its a lot easier to have a book that I can have right there at the car with me to thumb through.
Anyway, sounds like you've got a fun project ahead of you. Definitely put up some pics if you get a chance.

Just curious, so I can't let people know of places where there are write-ups for our Z? It seems that NICO doesn't have any write-ups so I was just helping him out by letting him know where there are some.

the N/A's use a different part number on the coil packs but yes they will work, and there is only 1 fuel pump but there is also a fuel pump controller if you tried replacing the pump and still got no fuel

The controller is a computer box located right by the pump. Check to make sure yours is there. The TT has one fuel pump but it is two stage unlike the single stage N/A. Email me at [email protected] and I can help you out with your parts delima. email me a list of everything you need. I should have everything but the fuel pump. The pump I would buy new OEM as the TT pumps are two stage and capable of over 650 horsepower. check with one of our sponsors such as bankston nissan for a new pump. good luck!!!

I <3 you too Dan.
You most likely won't find a Z at a junkyard, at least I never have. Contact one of NICO's sponsors if you want OEM Nissan parts, but if you are looking for used Z32 parts, either find somebody parting their TTZ out or contact Z1 motorsports as they have a whole lot of Z's just sitting around getting parted out.

Yes the pump is different. The TT pump can support over 600hp. I have a sender assembly if need be just no controller or pump. I can get it for you if you are interested in it though. Let me know

sending is the same and I will check on finding you a pump. You might want to try an oem pump from dealer or we have a sponsor I think still called bankston nissan. They should be able to cut you a good rate. You will need the conrtroller that bolts to the body by the access panel for the pump if you do not have it.

I got my pump from buynissanparts.com, I seem to recall it was still pretty pricey, at the time they were a nico sponsor and had the best price I could find, and to clarify someone elses post the fuel pummp controller is not located near the fuel pump unless maybe on a 2+2? on the 2 seater it's located behand the drivers seat behind the trim panel, bit of pain to get to

Thanks evil that was worrying about that because i didn't see it anywhere. Question still stands if anyone has used a walbro or some type of after market fuel pump.

sorry about the controller location mess up. I had a brain fart. It is behind the driver seat underneath the paneling. I have heard of people running a walbro but it still is not as strong as a tt pump. As long as you are not really seeking crazy horsepower it should work I would think. Good Luck
