Its the middle of the night an my insomnia is kicking in. So i thought id bring up another pointless thread.

I was looking for an avatar and I saw a bunch of comic book heros and it just made me think of all those graet times I had as a kid reading marvels and DCs. anyone else love comics as a kid (or hell, even now)?

I used to love comic books when I was younger, I still have a big *** book full of comics upstairs under my bed that I'm looking to get rid of now, but I wanted to see if maybe any of the books were worth anything before I sell em

I would have been into them when I was younger, but I didn't have the money or even the dicipline to keep up with the storylines on a weekly basis or whatever the publishing schedule was. I always liked going to the comic book store and looking at all the artwork, but one issue never seemed worth the money to me. I bought a few graphic novels but they were usually too expensive so I only got the ones that looked realy realy cool.

You guys talking comics, I am a Venom fanatic. And a Green Goblin fanatic. Oh yeah, I read Spiderman, too. HA!

Any way, I started reading them with Amazing 375. And didnt stop until the final battle with the Green Goblin and the end to the clone saga.

Nothing like an alien costum or a pumkin bomb and a few razor bats to make the day go by.

No, I had Captain America but someone else had him. I hadn't seen anyone with flash so I grabbed him. I would much rather have Venom for an avatar. I may up load one when I get my PC on line and working. (use a lap top at home).

I only read Spidey for the most part. I got into X-men a little. But got into reading Tom Clancy novels and gave up comics all together.

I still read comics. Anybody heard of Fables? It's a DC/Vertigo book about fairy tale char. In modern day newyork. Very adult and very amuzing. New fantastic four run is sweet as well. Damn Flash is freaking awsome they brought in a new Zoom. Oh sorry Yeah so um I like comics. :batman As far as pricing them go get an overstreet comic pricing guide from your local bookstore, or order it online.
