Simple question: Since a person can install a DE head onto a E block with modifications onto the block itself- ie: timing chain cover, etc.

Why can't you install a DE Cometic head gasket on a E block?

I am currently building up a very, very high compression E block (truck block series), with ARP head studs and I want to go the Cometic route, without going to copper specialty head gasket ( I will if I have to though)

Should work shouldn't it ?
