So when I rebuilt my motor I neglected to replcae the bolt on the head next to the distributor. That one. So I went to put it in and I noticed that there is not a hole in the cometic gasket for said bolt.

There is a slight oil leak at the hole which 1. makes a lot of smoke off the xhaust manifold = annoying

and 2 I seem to lose a slight bit of head pressure which scares the hell out of me.

Has any one ever had to tap this hole into the gasket? Could I have been sent the wrong year ie. does a different year KA not have this bolt?

I know, I thought I could keep it clean.. I was wrong.

I wonder if it would be safe to tap that hole in there.

I just need to find a bit that will work in that tight area.
