By the way, what happend to the AC commercials?? For about 2 months there seemed to be 30 TV commercials daily on the code red 3.5SE....then they quit running and I dont think I have seen ONE AC commercial in the last two months plus. Still see sedan commercials and other nissan commercials but NO AC commercials.

I though maybe they were waiting for the Honda Accord coupe to hit the market....but that is now happening and still no AC commercials...I am in San Diego...is it just here, or WHAT?

Makes me wonder what the hells up with Nissan, they advertize the crap outa the car when no dealers had them on theri lots, and now there is a supply on lots and no ads running...

My theory on commercials is that car makers advertise only for two reasons: 1. There's a new car/modification to an existing model. 2. The sales of that particular model is not going so well. Again, this is just a theory and if there are any marketing execs out there to tell clarify it all, please do.

Now that you bring it up, I have never even seen a Altima coupe ad on television. Only for the sedan is what they have shown around here.

The answer is quite simple, they are selling records amount of Altimas because of the coupe, and to not have the same situation as Nintendo's Wii where there is constant limited supply and a huge demand, they stopped advertising. The coupe is selling buttloads ( zerothread/290129 )so why waste money on advertisement when hordes of people come to the dealers just to see that "beautiful new coupe"?

First time seeing those ads..........I don't see very many coupes around here. Only a few I have seen, two 2.5's and also a 3.5....thats it.
