cool if your parents will sign the release u can drift in the event man.. just explain to them that this is done in a controled environment with nearly every possible threat or danger removed.. freak accidents happen but we try to eliminate all causes for an accident.. there are instructors on site to help point u in the right direction and its fun. tell them that its low speed u arent going 80mph or anything.. just tell them that usually its like driving around in second gear. i dont see why they should be worried if u explain all that.. good luck and ill look for u there if not before then.

good to hear.. yeah man come out there dont sweat it all of us drifters know that we all started somewhere.. u wont here a single negative comment from us unless u do something stupid like the jackass from ga did in greenville and floor your car and spin around and around out of control and almost hit people.. then u run the risk of a sever beat down and being banned from any event anywhere..lol.. seriously.. ull be surprised how friendly all the drivers are.. we like seeing new people share what we do. send me a number to call u at man.. some guys are talking about meeting up this weekend. u are more than welcome to come out and chill.

well car didnt get runnin, head isnt back from shop yet, paintin my intake, front upper cover and head semi gloss black, and the valve cover, well dunno yet but i will get around to it eventually lol but maybe theyll be done bright and early so i can get it all put together number is 864491 0918

update its now a 2 day event sunday being a competition with a huge payout..lol.. apparently im gonna get to take the TDC 240 out along with the 2 cars of my own im bringing..lol..

yeah shaw was supposed to go with me last night but they never called so i went alone... coils.. u still think u need that **** to drift huh? i doubt hell have it ready though.. hes still waiting on parts and hasnt even put the transmission in yet. lol.. my 240 is still stock as can be and will be that way at the event.. i got a feeling ill do fine in it.. then will u believe me that u dont need anything to drift a 240 well?

yeah i know you dont need anythingbut.. i just really want the coils. for both performance and looks..so i can go lower..

but yeah..the FMIC they bought came with the wrong pipes.so yeah..last i heard Shaw couldn't get his car started.. might have.. i donno

on a side note either i got ripped off or vlsd is the gayest thing ever invented.. if thats the case im selling the stupid 240 and going back to working cars like corollas..lol. anyone have any idea as to why the vlsd feels about as good as the open diff did?

its probably wore the hell out.my friend has a 180sx vlsd and it seems to work just fine. locks up in time.. not like a clutch type 2-way.. or1.5... but it locks up when the times right.

you my friend just bought a crappy vlsd..$50 did sound kinda cheap..Weld it and call it a day..when ever you do, or if you weld it, send me an email i might wanna weld mine same time..

yeah well after talking to actual drifters.. they now told me not to use the crappy vlsds..lol.. apparently if the fluid isnt warm it wont lock and if its too hot it wont lock.. which explains why it wouldnt lock when i first started driving but about the time i got home clutch kicks would send the back out.. whoever thought up the vlsd should be shot in the face repeatedly..yeah now i have an open diff sitting here that i can weld.. the reason i got the lsd so cheap is cause it was listed wrong.. i stumbled across it.. no one bid on it and i got for opening bid.. oops.. from all the ways people told me to check it out of the car it appears to be good.. but its just that its a vlsd and thats it i believe..lol.

yeah.. i guess i shoulda told ya..for the most part vlsd r ok for drift.but you will want to replace soon.. as they do wear out.to drift.. welded is better than the vlsd's. thats why im skipping the vlsd.

yeah i kinda figured as much.. i dont like welded cause it tends to lean towards understeer as theres no free spining moment on turn in.. its like a harsh 2 way which i also dont like.. it doesnt match my driving style basically so i thought id try the vlsd i got cheap. $50..lol. oh well lesson learned.. now i can weld the one thats out of the car just gotta spend another hour swapping out diffs... remove ring and pinion reinstall ..blah blah blah.
