Welcome welcome. I really want to see the datsun section grow. I just bought a 1984 datsun/nissan 200sx. As I've stated before my mom has a 71 240z and a 70 1600 roadster.

Alright, another S12 owner. Is your '84 a turbo or a CA20E? BTW check out Club S12

Hey man sorry I didn't respond sooner. Sadly it is the CA20E model, but I got it for a Daily Driver. I have liked the little bastards a long time, just never found one that I wanted to buy. This one has 118k miles on it. Copper exterior, Orange and black Interior all the options and it is a coupe. So I got the 4 links rear. That kinda bumed me out, but I don't plan on racing it so I am not too concerned. Also I am a member over at club s12. My first account got messed up so I had to make another. No big deal just added a II after my name. :D

I like the s12 hatches very much. I'd love to own one with a ca18et in them. I saw one for sale at a dealership, but it was non-turbo and automatic. I therefore passed it up without any regrets

I have to say that the S12 is one of the only cars that I like the hatch more than the coupe, but not by much. The ET is cool, but I think the VG30 model is my favorite.

I think the 240z is the way to go really, though the 280 is quite sweet. got that fuel injection sweetness. Also why don't we have an S12 section on the boards?

Well I finally found a wheel site that has the S12 listed. I know they are about the same as the 240sx, but I thought it was cool that they actually had the S12 listed. http://www.wheelsnext.com I always figured they would have a bunch of ADR rice crap, but they got some good stuff as well. Just thought I's throw up a post try and get this forum goin'. :D

It is dead in here. New member as of last month. I have a '72 510, with an FJ-20E with fuel injection. Also have a '70 1600 Roadster, which is slowly dying of cancer. Eventually, I'll have the money to fix it up.

Been a Datsun fan since the late 70's. Started off with a '72 1200 Sedan, with Webber carb, Header and exhaust system. At that point, I was hooked. Owned a very nice '71 510 with turbo L-16, moved up to Turbo L-20 (Very Fast @19lbs of boost) and then to Z-18 turbo @18lbs of boost. Almost as fast as the L-20, but was fuel injected and much more reliable.

Since then, I've owned 2 other 510's, but sold them off. I'll keep my current cars for while though. My other ride is a 2002 WRX with Vishnu Stage 2 @350hp, good for 12second 1/4s's. Anyway, I'm going to try and get other people signed up here, so we can kick-start this forum.

Cheers,Pat

Hi, I have a 1981 Datsun 210. Soon going to replace suspension with KYB GR-2 front struts, KYB Gas-a-just rear shocks and install a one piece bucket with 4 point Sparco harness. Hopefully I can swap in a KA and put in a roll cage by next summer

Got the KYB Gas-a-just rear shocks installed. I could feel the difference from the blown oem tokico shocks that were on the car since the factory. The rear end feels more planted, car stays level after I shift, and the rear end swings around a little easier. Also the rear end is lifted a big lol. Can't wait to get the GR-2 struts installed in front.

My first car was an '81 280ZX...but considering its ugly fate at my stupid teenage hands, you guys would probably tar and feather me right out of this forum.

Oddly enough the L28 still ran smoothly even amidst the twisted wreckage that was left.

awww man that sucks ..well lucky me huh i got 81 280zx, getting worked done to everything from motor to body. 82 280zxt, took motor out and put it in the 81. and junked the auto transmission and rusted body. 83 280zxt but someone stole the turbo off of it. and a bad exhaust leak and realy bad calipers and brake lines .lol.... well let me stop bsing...if anyone need a motor i have a spare with like 100k and am thinking about getting rid off the 83 also its also missing a driver side rear quarter pannel glass. both of the t-top glass have a spider crack. my wife is bieetching about all my datsuns and car..am realy hoping to get my friend 78 240. i saw it. its beautiful minimal rust burgandy nice red interior. if i ever get this 78 i will have my friend put in a 350 small block. or a ford 302, cus he got one now that is realy realy realy sick looking and BIG BALLS

IGNORE THE GREEN GIANT.. AND LOOK BEYOND IT AND SEE THE BEAST.. THE 83 280ZX DIGITAL GAUGES AND AN AUTOMATIC.
