Have any of you guys come home from college, and felt like everyone had changed, and you don't have the friends that you thought you had? I came home to realize I have few REAL friends back home. I can't wait to get back to school to my actual friends, the ones that would have my back on anything. But this is probably the last time I'm coming home for a long period of time ever, so I guess it doesn't really matter. Sorry, just had to vent and talk about what I noticed.

I'm going on my third year of school, so not too much longer and I'll be out on my own in the real world. Wow thats so scary to think about.

i feel it... but the other way around. my and my closer friends are all attending community colleges. some long time friends have went off to their respectful universities... when they come back from break or for the weekends... you hear of what have they been doing and all... its really weird.

female friends wearing more feminine (sp?) clothing, more make up, more guy friends (which kinda worries me)

guy friends into clubbing, dancing, etc...

just have to adjust to the change i guess

Most of my old friends have become settled down and boring, some are huge losers. Times change.

Weird.

I like coming home...because I still have a FEW real friends here. But they are few and far between and I will welcome the beginning of school this fall. I've lost touch with 90% of the people I used to know, and funny enough...I dont care. I guess they just weren't real friends!

I can safely say that most people will be able to count on one hand the friends they maintain contact with from H.S...

I know what you mean. Old friends maybe, but time sure does change people.

A couple of my old friends have gotten lucky w/ getting high paying jobs with their parents and insist on bragging about all of their new stuff they bought, although they're all still living at home.

My old friends who are going to the community college here are already hating it (after only one year) and their jaded attitude towards it carries over into their friendships, at least towards me. They always seem boring...

But there are a few friends I kept in touch with, and they're still cool. Good thing too, or else I'd be really bored on weekends.
