sure I will give it a go tonight when I get home......BTW Bob thanks for being the leader in getting the Versa some new partsjfanaselle wrote:I think the grille looks nice and the only reason everyone thinks it looks bad is because it isn't finished in the middle. I don't like the one that jspec posted because it doesn't sit flush with the body lines of the car. It looks like someone punched in the nose of the car (I believe that is actually a pic of idunno22221's car). Hey Bulld0g, if you're around, we could really use your photo chopping skills here. Do you think you could cut out the center of a stock blacked out grille and chop it into the center piece of one of bob's grille pics above? Here's a good one from CodeRed's grille tutorial:

This looks pretty good! If the center section were to be painted to match the specific color per vehicle, it would really set it off. After the cutting, sanding and any other modifications, this would be the perfect time to have this done.bulld0g wrote:with stock center and bumper grille
like this......hope you don't mind me chopping your pics Bobjspec603 wrote:

Painting it would be a very wise idea after all is said in done. By the time you get done cutting the old grill up and sanding down the edges where the parts were molded together, you'll be left with a very rough edge. Even once you've done a finish sanding it will still leave the plastic 'white' and appear scuffed. My opinion would be to take it to your body guy and have him primer fill (k20 primer?) the part, then wet sand it down to a nice smooth finish. Then paint to match so it nice and shiny and factory looking! If one has the ability to do this at home, this would save you a ton of money!jfanaselle wrote: On a black car you wouldn't even need to paint the grille or center piece.

good to hear.... BTW how do I add the vents to the cart?versaspeed.com wrote:Hey gang, if you go to the versaspeed website I put some of the photo's I took before I took the front plate and Nissan emblem off and it will show you that you don't have to cut anything...it's all there so IF you want to paint the center another color it would be easy or keep it the same color as the bumper..IF you want to keep the Nissan emblem it's easy to put it back on. Again all can be done in about an hour a real DIY!
PLUS....I do have the window vents in stock again.
Bulldog...nice job on the photoshop and I don't mind at all.
To put the Nissan emblem is easy and all I did was use double sided tape and you can do it yourself.
I think I've answered everything.....
