The driver's side front combination lamp housing aiming seems to be off. See picture: Image
Which side is correct? The passenger side has a new bulb in it. I don't see a way to adjust aiming. I know it hardly matters, but it irks me. :gotme

Also, today I noticed the front driver's side combination lamp housing has what seems to me an excessive amount of condensation build up. The passenger side was free of condensation, as were the headlights. Does this look normal? Image

I have never had to touch my Path headlight ..............Nothing in any of the service manuals available for download for adjustment? I have had some headlight bulbs throw off the headlight pattern -- enough that I had to return them and get different ones? Not with the Path.

You should not get any moisture in the side lamp. Check first to make sure the bulb gaskets are correct and that the sockets are tight - then it is checking for a crack. It looks as if has a lot of water in it? You may have to remove the lamp and use a hair dryer to dry it out. If it has a crack use the correct glue or it will fail again -- Thankfully the front lamps for the Paths are not expensive if you can not fix it.

Looks like you are getting some yellowing on the headlights -- I recently did an older set on a MB and was surprised how well it worked -- used the 3M kit.

The yellowing of the headlamp isn't very extensive, just mostly at the top. I used some Meguiar's PlastX to remove quite a bit of cloudiness.

I'm sure there is aiming info in the owner's manual/FSM for the headlamp, but I wasn't sure if it also aimed the combination lamp as well.

The side light is a separate part -- I had to replace one of mine .......... It was quite a while ago but I think I would remember if it was a pain to take out.

It is indeed annoying to remove, it requires a lot of force to pull out. I know it's a separate part, but wasn't sure if it had its own aiming mechanism or was just tied to the headlight.

It just bolts in -- you can't adjust the turn/parking light. Like the fog lamp - if the bumper is hit and shifts for any reason -- the light will no longer be aimed correctly. But for all practical purposes the turn/ side light doesn't really matter .

Indeed it doesn't, so I'll forget about trying to aim it. I'm learning towards just replacing the combination lamp for what, $8.36 on RockAuto, since it seems to retain condensation and has a hairline crack. OEM is $63, hah, yeah right.

I bought a new housing; the old one was cracked and let water in, and the parking filament on the bulb had failed, so I figured I might as well replace the damn thing to avoid eating bulbs. It came with a bulb and socket too. Looks like it's aimed better, but the pattern and color isn't the same as OEM... but whatever, good enough for me for only $17 shipped vs. $64 or whatever the OEM part is.

Get clear corners. And yeah on mine the passenger side one took alot of pull to get it off, the drivers side one popped off easier when i was putting my clear corners in.
