Colorado (Denver) Rogue Owners

New member here whose wife has a brand new 2013 Nissan Rogue with roughly 1K miles on the clock. Seeing the various CVT repair threads I thought I'd ask a couple quick questions. Figured the CVT shouldn't be an issue prior to purchase, as the wife's friend has an '09 or '10 Altima with CVT and hasn't had any issues. Now I know the extended warranty on the CVT only covered the '08-'10 models (I believe), so we won't be so lucky to be covered past the normal warranty. But....

• What is your experience with the CVT here in CO and dealing with the altitude and many mountain passes?

• What other commonly reported problems are out there on the Rogue? I've done a search, but many posts are one item here or there by each owner, no trend seen on consistent problems, other than the CVT that is.

• What have you found to be the best Nissan dealership "service dept" in the Denver Metro area? We live up north close to AutoNation 104th, which does good work (based on our repair history on current & former Nissans - '93 SE-R, '96 Sentra, '04 Altima & '86 Pulsar), but they always seem to be adding extra services to the repair list that aren't truly needed or were already completed. So they have a spotty track record regarding trustworthiness with us.

Any other thoughts or suggestions for a new Rogue owner. Wife is coming from an '04 Altima, which has the 2.5L & 4spd auto.
