$32.00 and came with a free bottle of touch up. Pardon the photo quality. I don't have photoshop here at work to compliment my 40D. Microsoft photo editor for the lose.. lol

So where did you get the paint from? What type of paint.

Local body shop painted it. Tomlin Brothers in Millville, NJ. They have the computer mixing machine there so it was an exact match. K50, dark slate gray, has something like 15 colors in it.

They should come like this from the factory. Looks great! js08coupe, did you prep the parts before taking them to the shop for paint?

Nope, the cost included sanding/scuffing and priming. All I did was pop them out at the shop and hand them to the guy. 24 hour turn around too.

I agree on the factory color matched mustache. The car is basically 99% non chrome. Looked out of place to me. Certain colors look better with a chrome compliment though. Maybe they'll change it to an option for later year AC's.

Taking insparation from this thread, I went to my local body shop today and they said they wouldn't do that kind of job. Said that no amount of prep would make the paint stick well enough and that in a few months I'd have a chipped, cracking, and un-touchup-able job. Well, he said he'd do it, but they would not guarantee the work.

Maybe I'll call my dealer and see if they can order me a blank grill, but by the time I pay for that and get it painted, I should just buy an aftermarket.

I'd be interested to see how your pieces hold up... If sucessful, please let me know...
