I'm kind of pissed about the SEC. My team is the Gators, unfortunately I am in the Marines out here in Cali and Gator games aren't that televised and I'm not about to pay to watch them on ESPN via the net.

However there first to games have been complete @ss whippings to the other teams so they probably weren't that great anyway...

Go Gators

Gators look really good this year but of course they have the unstoppable force of tebow....well almost unstoppable, he's never beat Auburn (lol)

but on the bright side you're in Cali, which sounds pretty cool, except you're stuck watching USC football...

Yeah lol...... As for Cali... it's ok I guess. The only reason I would watch PAC 10 is because my wife went to Oregon State so she is a Beaver Fan.

As for Tebow, yea he'll take them to the promise land but once he's gone the Gators will fall into another 2 year lull until the next QB can bring back up to par. Same thing happen when Danny Wuerffel graduated... Doug Johnson did ok from 97-99 and the Gators were so/so until Leek. Hopefully once Tebow leaves it won't take them that long to get their head out of their @ss.

A lot of teams in our conference seem to have Put all your hopes and dreams in the hands of one phenomenal player and then when they go pro have a year or two of recession. I really do hope you guys go to the top, unless Auburn is there with you of course. And most likely because of the BS BCS you guys will play BYU or Boise St. and hopefully destroy them so all these announcers that bash the SEC will be shut up....

Don't you just hate how undeserving teams like USC and Ohio St..BYU and Boise St get held up so high but in reality just play in garbage conferences

I agree, I think alot of it has to do with being forced into a conference based on school size regardless of ability.

Ohio St. is a kick a$$ team they just need to be playing in a different conference.

I saw it in high school, our team was good but was no match for a school bigger size and resources so when the school got downsized they were forced to play in our division and totally annilihated us.

What do people think about Jevan Snead (Ole Miss QB)?

I think he can be a Heisman candidate.

He is definitely very talented. I'm just really curious to see how well he performs under heavy defensive pressure. Their next three games will be a true test of his overall value. Sadly, I think Tebow (unless someone upsets him somewhere thru the year) will probably win the Heisman, especially since its a bias vote. Other quarterbacks like Greg McElroy and Colt McCoy are looking pretty stellar this year too.

This BCS stuff is really annoying. Auburn is 3-0 won every game by atleast 10 points, we're leading the SEC West and we still aren't even ranked.....but Kansas is?? And USC got a bashing from now ranked 24 Washinton, but is still ranked 12?? I just don't get it....

Well South Carolina set Ole Miss and Snead back but I don't think Tebow should win it. Florida is so good any one playing QB would win games. I think this year Colt McCoy get it. Snead still has a shot but it is McCoy's turn this year

Any yea USC isn't that great. I feel they belong in the 5-10 rank and Washington doesn't belong period. Auburn has beaten Louisiana Tech, Mississippi State and Ball State, that doesn't deserve top 25 ranking. If they beat any three of these teams while loseing NO MORE then three games then they should be considered:- Tennessee- Arkansas- Georgia- Ole Miss- Alabama

Hope the Gamecocks don't have a let down with S.C. State, potent offense but not much D. The Tide look like the head of the class in the SEC to me. LSU just keeps squeaking by and Tebow is out for a while, should get very interesting.

Well this is the an off week for teh Gators so it gives Tebow roughly two weeks rest. I highly doubt he'll miss the LSU game.

The Tide is looking good, but I can't believe that South Florida beat FSU. SC and UF is def gonna be a good game.

I just don't get why Urban Meyer left him in the game. I gotta a feeling he's leaving the Florida organization when Tebow does. And is it just me or does anyone else just wanna see LSU lose?

Que? You mean when he got rocked by that Kentucky lineman? He was escorted off the field, or are you talking about why he was just sitting on the sideline instead of getting in the ambulance asap?

I meant like when your team is up that much why leave your starters in the game. That's the exact situation you pull your starters for, bc you don't want them hurt. I mean lucky for Florida it was nothing serious, and this week was a bye, bc Tebow is the sole reason you have such a great team. And speaking of Tebow I would love nothing more than to see him destroy Les Miles and LSU!!!!

Ahh, gotcha. Well the only reason Tebow stays in is I'm sure he's racking up stats for his NFL draft.

NFL GMs don't base their draft decisions on just stats. Tebow can put up two Heismen, rushing TD records, yards galore, 3 championships and he still won't get drafted high. Look at Jason White and Eric Crouch. GMs know what they are doing, unless you're a Raider fan and Al Davis' senile a*s is making GM decisions

Its true that he definitely won't be top 5 but I could see him going to a team who uses his size and talent. He's got too much hype behind him not to go first round bc he has a lot to bring to the game. But Jake Long has a way better chance of being drafted as a quarterback than Tebow. Maybe he could be another Matt Jones and step into a wide reciever/tight end spot....

That would be a waste of talent if that happened. He is an awesome QB, then again he does run the ball alot lke a RB/TE.

Holy sh*t, I can't believe that the Gators were having so much trouble with Arkansas' defense. WTF 6 sacks and 4 turnovers due to fumbles and 2 of which were in the red zone. I'm glad they won though, damn that was a close game.

Yea some of those fumbles were hilarious, the dudes foot forced a fumble HAHA. Also how about Arkansas' RB! OMG that guy looked good. But FL didn't have Spikes playing so...

But cheers for Bama fans, you guys are rated AP#1 - http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/poll?poll=APFL is still #1 where it counts, the BCS...

WTF happened to Virginia Tech!?

Arkansas is starting to look like a good ball club. But I mean in the SEC every week is a toss up when we play each other. The level of competition is so much higher here and the talent is unparalleled. Bama is the most consistent team this year in the SEC and Florida has definitely got their work cut out for them. Its sad though that only one of them can play for the BSC championship bc anyone they play would get beat anyways. An SEC team is going to the BCS champion yet again!

And the V Tech game was ridiculous. Don't know if anyone saw that one coming....

Fla starting to look like the front runner now. The talent on the field and sidelines in the SEC is unmatched in any conf.

Tenn. showing signs of life, LSU starting to gel. This is gonna be a nail biter to the SEC championship!

The SEC coaches can really put together a game plan, no win is easy and 80% of the time any team is a pick 6, kick return or a bomb away from a victory.

Yeah I was really hoping it was going to be that way for auburn but we haven't been playing well for the last 3 weeks. LSU took advantage of our unsynchronized offense and our defense is looking sluggish.

Florida is going to need to step it up to beat a rejuvenated Alabama team.

And Cincinnati is looking amazing. I think they deserve a BCS shot way more than Texas or the way overrated teams Boise St and USC

I don't even know how to feel after Saturday...

That is one of the most heartbreaking losses I have ever been a part of as a fan.

But every year Nebraska has one or two of these types of losses. This year with V. Tech and Texas, the year before with V Tech, the previous year or two they lost to Texas when they shouldn't have, and Texas Tech the year before that.

I would have rather been blown out than to lose in that fashion.

But, I hope Texas gets it done against the Tide, just Texas going helps the Big XII out alot, and the conference stands to make a good amount of money by them being there. Looks like we have Arizona (how funny, being as I live there, lol) in the Holiday Bowl. One more game and then it's off to try and recruit some offensive talent...we sure as s*** need it

GO BIG RED!!!

and GO HORNS!!!, well for game game anyway

It was a game that came down to the wire.

Oklahoma will go up against Stanford, here in EL Paso, at the annual Brut Sun Bowl game. Gonna cheer on OU. OU is a fave of mine, 2nd to TEXAS. The only time I cheered for a PAC-10 team, were for the Ducks of Oregon. They gave South Florida a beating.

it just sucks that Boise St and TCU play each other. Not really a test to show what they're really like...which in my opinion is highly overrated.

Alabama has a proven defense, their game will either be a tight one (which I doubt) or a total blow out...
